TOMINTOUL DISTILLERY PICTURES
Well, I finally got around to visit Tomintoul distillery, a very nice distillery owned by Angus Dundee.
Shortly after Angus Dundee bought the distillery, I met Robert Fleming – master distiller – and we have been in contact every now and then. So it was nice to finally visit the distillery.
Coming in at the distillery was already a welcoming site meeting Tom Geerie (production manager), Graeme Bowie (the new production manager), Robert Fleming, Nikki Brand and Iain Forteath (sales representative). The way welcomed me, made me feel like coming home. Tom led me and my travelling companion Iain Scott around the distillery, telling us that it was about 10 days to go to his retirement. The tour was great and very personal and with regard to his personality it is a shame that he retired. Of course, I would like to wish him all the best and hope he can still spent a lot of time discovering the U.S.A.
All in all a great visit and nice to meet all the great people of Tomintoul distillery. Hoping it won’t take as long for my next visit.
I visited Tomintoul with my friend Iain Scott.
